Unhappy Holidays.

Well, School starts tomorrow. Ben and I stopped by over the weekend to pickup our courses for the remainder of the year and to also get out grades from the last semester. I didn’t do to badly, French Class, as I predicted, was a failure. The teacher wrote on my test that it appeared I didn’t pay one ounce of attention to anything related to french in that class. The funny thing is, she is right! I spent most of the semester paying attention to that girl who sat five desks in front of me… I wish I had gotten her name! I did learn how to say “Would you like to go out sometime and get busy?” in French, and had every intention of unleasing that “I gotta get busy” pickup line on the day of the final exam, but she was a no show! Mrs. Donavin the French teacher didn’t even know where she went… HEY! I got a great idea! Maybe if I say that pickup line to Mrs. Donavin, she may conceed that I DID learn some french over the semester, and give me a passing grade! I can’t possibly see how she couldn’t!

Ben and I don’t really have to many classes together this semester. He seemed to take it better than I would expect, but he has always been pretty good at masking his feelings. I can tell it’s eating him up inside. I have that effect on people, making them feel eaten up from the inside.
On the plus side, Ben and I at least share one class, Home Economics. It’s one of those girly classes they make everyone take to make sure they are prepared for the real world. I say, “What real world?” As long as I have my Mom to whip out her maxed out credit card and buy pizza every night as she drinks herself to sleep, why the heck would I need to learn anything about cooking or prepairing raw food? Well, at least Ben will be there, maybe it won’t be so bad.

Oh ya, I almost forgot, the reason I titled this post “Unhappy Holidays”. It’s not just because time off school has come to an end, but also because Christmas this year wasn’t exactly as good as last year. Last year, Mom’s civil suite against my Dad for Child Support finally kicked through after almost 8 years. A pretty long time, so Dad was forced to send us quite a lot of money. Last year was great with all that loot, Mom actually bought a Turkey (she paid the neighbour to cook it for us) and she bought us presents (I got a few video games, Kyle got some dumb bitcoints) It was awsome! This year, Mom’s kinda blown through all that money Dad has been sending. I’m not quite sure how much it was in total, but she sure has her cabnit of forbidden liquids stacked so it must have been a fair bit.

Anyway, there was no turkey this year, I only got one present (a pre-scratched scratch and win) and our normal holiday traditions of Mom airing her greviences at the neighbours continued.

I wont say it was the worst holiday, but I just hope Dad has the forsight to start addressing these monthly payments right to me. At least I have a few train related ideas that money could at least go towards…
